Looking for something new to get those creative juices flowing? This previously live class leads you through learning the art of paper flowers with paper florist Quynh Nguyen. During this workshop, she carefully explains how to create her Cherry Blossom Branch. You will learn how to create petals, buds, leaflets and more that will translate in to skills to make other paper flowers. Making paper flowers and teaching the art of paper flower creation is one of Quynh's primary passions.

Quynh’s goal in teaching this course is to show you the best techniques for making paper flowers, but most importantly to have a blast creating something new and beautiful! Can’t wait to see you there!

Supply kits include:

Crepe Paper:

  • German doublette in pink and yellow
  • Italian 90gsm in cream
  • Extra Fine crepe in light green
  • Dennison crepe in dark brown

Wires:

  • 22 gauge
  • 26 gauge
  • Tacky Glue
  • Spun cottons 10 mm
  • White floral tape

What Students Need to Have:

  • Scissors

What you will learn in this tutorial:

  • How to make petals, buds, leaflets
  • How to put together a simple five-petal flower and group them together
  • How to join small branches and stems to create a larger branch
  • Various ways to color your petals and your branches to give depth and dimension to the cherry blossom branch

Quynh is the artist behind Pink & Posey. She is also the founder of The Posey Box and Paper Talk Podcast. Most of her work has specialized in building bouquets and arrangements for brides, but more recently her focus has been on commercial works.
