2.5 hours

This relaxing two hours of watercolor instruction includes an introduction, watercolor foundations, and a project to complete together with supplies that will be shipped directly to you.

Come celebrate the beauty of ‘The Plant Lady’ with her Monstera leaves, wearing her JenniKayne Fisherman’s sweater, in all the lovely tones of neutral and beige, gray and olive green.

If you have taken a watercolor workshop with Sarah Simon of TheMintGardener before, then you know what a thorough, engaging and knowledgeable teacher she is. In this class for JenniKayne, she will explores foundational watercolor techniques: everything you need to know to approach watercolors as a beginner (or even a more experienced dabbler), and develop your skills to make your paint dance on your paper. Watercolor can be a mindful and relaxing art form, and Sarah has taught thousands of people to watercolor with her online classes and internationally best-selling books.

In class, you will explore how to add depth to your watercolors, and mix up color recipes, all while learning which techniques Sarah uses to get the clean ,smooth and vibrant look she is able to capture with her paintbrush. We will be completing a full project in class, together step by step, so you will have a complete piece of frameable art when you are done. Sarah provides you with pre-drawn art, so there will be no pressure to draw anything in class. All you have to do is open up the supplies we send you, and tune in online as Sarah guides you through the mindful practice of watercolor in these peaceful and quintessentially JenniKayne-inspired hues.
